Primary Research Methods
Primary research conducted to explore circular economy activities to encourage re insert the value embedded in perfume bottles.

Survey
Initial exploratory surveys were conducted to assess the as-is context of perfume owners and their relation with perfume bottles. Preliminary Hypotheses were confirmed as many people confirmed that they have an emotional attachment with bottles and are reluctant to instantly throw to waste perfume bottles when empty.

Cultural Probes and Interviews
Cultural Probes is a smart technique to engage with potential users to know more about their actual behavior. In this case they were asked to take pictures of their perfumes and answer open ended questions.
This was also used to select interviewees for the next stage and have ice-breaker questions to kickstart fruitful conversations.

Secondary research on scholarly articles and case studies around value-creation and co-creation in the context of sports fans and their spectator experience. A systemic perspective on sporting events and the experience of fans, organizations, and other stakeholders.

Blockchain technology and non-digital asset transactions
Secondary research around the future applications of the blockchain technology around the transaction of non-digital assets. Literature review of relevant scholarly articles and books, followed by methodology chapter explaining the researcher’s world views and approach tho this research paper.
Primary research method selection for further research on the subject to engage future users and collect expert’s opinions and other datapoints.
